Jodhpur: Salman Khan has been convicted by a Jodhpur court in connection with the blackbuck hunt case, sentenced to five years in jail and Rs 10,000. Fined.
The court acquitted Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, the remaining accused in the case.
The judicial magistrate’s court of Jodhpur completed the verdict of a 20-year-old blackbuck hunting case against Salman Khan on March 28, setting the verdict on 5.
Salman Khan, who had gone to Abu Dhabi for ‘Race 3’, returned to Mumbai on Wednesday and traveled to Jodhpur to attend the court.
What’s the case?
Twenty years ago Salman and other artists went to Rajasthan to shoot the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. On 2 October 1998, Salman was hunted for two blacks at midnight. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were present on the spot. In this case, the crime was registered under section 51 of Salman Wildlife Protection Act
