Netflix and HBO won 23-23 awards in 70th Emmy Awards
The world’s most prestigious 70th Emmy Award in Television, there was a tough competition between ‘HBO’ and ‘Netflix’. This time Emmy Award being held at the Microsoft Theater of Los Angeles, Netflix, which has won the flagship cable network ‘Home Box Office’ (HBO) and its programs on the Internet, Netflix and HBO won 23-23 awards in 70th Emmy Awards.
Netflix has secured the most no. of nominations against HBO while chasing everyone in the nomination list for this year’s Emmy Award. Netflix has 112 nominations compared to HBO 108. At the beginning of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, HBO was making an edge. HBO got 17 prizes in his bag while Internet Streamer Netflix got 16 awards.
At the ceremony, HBO made headlines from its comedy serial “Barry”, while Netflix also made its strong presence in the limited series and film category with its spectacular shows.
